If you're searching for a peaceful and scenic spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Kiwi Chalet might just be the perfect place for you. This architect-designed home offers stunning direct views over the natural landscape and Coronet Peak ski field, and it's conveniently close to historic Arrowtown and Queenstown Airport. The area is well-known for its excellent wineries, and you'll have easy access to Queenstown cycle trails, walking tracks, and Lake Hayes. Kiwi Chalet is perfect for couples or singles, and popular for honeymooners.

This beautiful chalet is nestled in a scenic spot on the hillside next to the owner's family home, offering both privacy and stunning views. It's equipped with a full kitchenette, living and dining area, master bedroom, and ensuite on the ground floor, and a cozy second living area in the loft upstairs. The natural latex and wool blend mattress offers medium/firm comfort with 100% cotton bedding, and an electric blanket keeps you nice and warm in the winter. The kitchenette includes a convection microwave oven, gas hob, range hood, and mini-fridge (no freezer). The chalet also contains a heat pump/air conditioning unit for warmth and cooling, and it has north-facing floor-to-ceiling windows and sliders that offer the most epic views upstairs and down.

Kiwi Chalet is also conveniently located near some of New Zealand's best ski fields, including Coronet Peak, Remarkables, and Cardrona. It's also within easy reach of world-class golf courses and bike hire companies, and the Queenstown cycle trail provides direct access to Arrowtown, Queenstown, and the wineries of Gibston Valley. Families with children over 5 years old can also be accommodated upon request.

It's important to note that Kiwi Chalet is located in a rural area, and guests are advised to have their own vehicle. There is no direct bus or public transport to the chalet, but there is free unlimited parking onsite. In the winter months, it's advisable to hire a 4WD vehicle and carry chains if you're planning to head up the ski fields.

Guests should also bring a few food supplies with them, although the owners do supply cereal, milk, and a few snacks. There is a range of large supermarkets on the route from the airport and a small supermarket six minutes drive away in Arrowtown.

All linen is provided, and tea, coffee, body wash, hand soap, salt, pepper, and oil are also available. The owners' family home is located next to the chalet, so guests may occasionally hear or see them, but they do endeavor to give guests as much privacy as possible during their stay. Finally, it's important to note that some areas of the property are still being landscaped, so guests may see gardeners out and about during their stay.
