Bolton, VT // $100/night // Book on Airbnb

Escape to the tranquil beauty of the mountains with the Four Seasons cabin, located in Vermont. This cozy cabin provides all the comforts of home with stunning sunset views from the deck. You can keep yourself warm in front of the wood stove while taking in scenic vistas. The cabin is located only minutes from the Long Trail, rock climbing, skiing, swimming holes, and golf courses. Additionally, Burlington and most ski areas are just a 45-minute drive away.

The cabin is the perfect size at 225 square feet. It features a full-size Murphy bed with a memory foam mattress that can tuck away neatly to leave enough room for a Vermont Farmhouse dining table, a comfortable couch, a full kitchenette, a bathroom with a stand-up shower stall, and a wood stove.

The cabin is privately nestled along the tree line behind the host's home, which is located about five miles down a dirt road. The driveway can be steep and require at least a four-wheel-drive vehicle during the winter months. In such cases, you will have to walk up about 0.2 miles of the driveway to the cabin. In those instances, advanced notice will be given. Guests are welcome to hike on the trails behind the host's house and store their skiing or hiking equipment in their garage.

The cabin is comfortably private, though, with privacy shades. The host utilizes all of their property for stacking and moving wood, gardening, playing, raising chickens and goats, etc., so guests will see them during their stay.

The four seasons cabin is located in the woods, so the WiFi can be spotty at times. The power occasionally goes out, but the host has a generator to provide power if that happens. There may be mice, deer, bears, foxes, and other animals that you may see or hear, and ticks and bugs can be a bother during some parts of the year.

Lastly, the Camp Ethen Allen Training Site is located about two miles away. It is home to the Army Mountain Warfare School and conducts weapon testing, which can be heard at times, depending on the time of year. The host offers complimentary use of snowshoes, sleds, and snow tubes upon request.
