Minnesota Prairie Cottage Tiny House (207 Sq Ft)
7:54 PMThis family-friendly tiny house makes the most out of its 207 sq ft space to make two adults, Kim, and Ryan Kasl, and their two children as comfortable as possible in a small space.
The Kasl family from Minnesota decided to go tiny as a way to save money while Ryan went back to school to complete a second master's degree. They sold their 1,900 sq ft home and teamed up with Kim's uncle, who owns a construction company called Nicolas Construction Inc. Using plans from Tumbleweed Tiny Houses, they were able to come up with a home that suited all the family's needs.
The downstairs level had space where Kim could homeschool the kids, in addition to a kitchen and a bathroom with a tub. Upstairs, are two loft bedrooms joined by a catwalk so the kids could reach their parents in the middle of the night without having to go up and down ladders.
The Kasl family still lives in their tiny house and Kim even documents their life in the unique home on her blog called Bless This Tiny House.
