The very first tiny home featured on Tiny House Nation was this 172 sq ft home named the "Dream Castle". The home was built on a budget of $30,000 for a family of three who wanted to live mortgage free and save.

The very first tiny home built on Tiny House Nation was for a Tennessee couple, Chelsea and Jeff, and their young daughter. With Jeff, a former Marine going back to school, they decided to switch to tiny house living to save money so Chelsea could work less and spend more time at home with their daughter. They set a budget of $30,000 and enlisted the help of THN hosts, John and Zack, plus George Lott of Perfect Ideas LLC.
